Title: East Indian Bride in Palanquin
Description: This very special piece is actually done in three separate pieces which are installed to appear as one piece. Each palanquin bearer is garbed in colorful glass robes and a headress embellished with jewels. The palanquin, adorned with gold glass flowers and topped with a brass elephant, encases the bride who is dressed in a traditional red and gold sari. She is wearing ornate gold jewelry befitting a wealthy family. This piece when assembled measures approximately 3.5" x 8' and weighs about 30-40 lbs. This piece requires installation.
